The samurai (or bushi) were the members of the military class, the Japanese warriors. Things You'll Need
Wooden frame with glass, stained glass in colors needed for your chosen design, glass cutter, and running pliers to snap glass stips.
glass nippers; wheel type are best, clear paper glue, dark grout
latex or vinyl gloves, rags or soft paper towels, 2 small eye hooks for frame hanging, paint for frame if you want a different color 

Make a Bear out of Clay 

Allow these steps to make an adorable teddy bear out of clay.

Steps:

Get clay. Any sort works.

Determine the size of your bear. The bigger, the easier.

Create a slightly long sphere for the body, and shape it into whatever pose you like.

Create a sphere for the head. Make sure it's in proportion with the body.

Make a "worm" Out of clay, cut it, and select two pieces to fold in half and be ears.

Create a small nose and eyes. Flatten them slightly and attach them to your bear's face. Take this time to attach your ears as well.

Make a Mosaic from Broken Tiles

Get an idea in your head of what kind of mosaic you would like to make. Sketch a basic drawing of what you would like it to look like when it finishes. This can be as detailed as you want, but it just has to give you a guide.

Next, head over to your local hardware or floor store and select and buy the tiles you would like to use. This includes color and texture, or anything that you like. You could also go dumpster diving to find old tiles. These should be ceramic. (If your mosaic will be used where it may be subjected to freezing temperatures, the tiles should be porcelain that is frost resistant.)You may want to purchase a tile cutter if you are looking for a dramatic, organized mosaic with square pieces. You should also buy some tile adhesive and cement.

How to Make a Mosaic Heart

This is a fun interactive thing that you can make for that special someone or just for decorations.

• Assemble the items needed.
• Cut the striped piece of paper so it's a bit smaller than the black piece.
• Glue the striped piece and center it on the black piece.
• Draw a big heart onto the striped piece.
• Rip several inch / 2.5 cm wide pieces from the shades and make an outline around the heart.
• Rip more small 1 inch / 2.5 cm pieces and make another outline in the inside of the other outline.
• Keep repeating until it is completely filled.
